Hi
We're coming down to Murcia at the end of the month (13 days and counting!!!) for our first summer holiday and hear the beaches, especially Los Alcazares can be really busy.
Ideally we'd like to have a few different ones to go to and wonder if anyone had beaches they could recommend? Cheers, Richard |

Hi Richard
Our keyholder, Aidan, gave us a great website, it's called www.simplynetworking.es and they have a beach guide for the Murcia region on their home page which is really informative. Hope this helps.
Kind regards Audra |

if you are after a quieter beach, the ones at calblanque are lovely, there are no ammenities though and road is a little bumpy Follow signs to la manga and after passing la manga golf and the two petrol stations either side, you will see a turn off saying calblanque

Thanks Audra and Savagesam - that's great. I'm pleased I put this topic on the forum as I hadn't seen either of the websites you mentioned and both are really useful and give loads of info on thing to do and places to see! It just shows how much there is in Murcia with something for everyone. Can't wait for our trip - 11 days and counting ! Thanks again, Richard |

| the beaches above the mar menor at El Mojon /Torre de la Horadada are also lovely, they are long open beaches or smaller cove type ones, fantastic area |

| I think El Mojon/Torre Horadada are the best beaches in the area, well worth the visit, and out of season almost empty |
