I have been told today that Murcia Furniture Planners have filed for bankruptcy. There is therefore the possible knock-on effect that people with orders may have a problem.
I have no proof of this but completely trust the individual who told me this news. I simply hope that this may save any of you who are contemplating a purchase from them that this may save you potential loss.

| We've been there recently and the huge warehouse display space was almost empty, what was left was incomplete room sets, enough for me to ask if they were closing down. They said they were just stocktaking. |

i bought my furniture from them in 2008 & have been trying to get a shower screen fixed for 2 years. sooner they go the better !!
& after 2 years one member of staff told me (off record) that they are going under probably within the next couple of weeks, so trying to get my money back would be a waste of time (they dont have any!!). that was over 2 weeks ago, so its a pretty safe bet that the stock taking line was not completly true.

| looks like another one bites the dust then ! still, exchange rate is on our side at the mo & with a bit of luck tourism may help prop things up a little this summer. |

Hi,
OK the latest I have on this crowd is that they are planning on re opening across the road under another name, not sure what that is yet. Beware people.
Lots of other quality companies in the area that sell nice stuff for good prices, we recently kitted out another property and got it cheaper than buying in the UK once you add transport and insurance in. |

Yes that is exactly the one, huge shop looks very impresive. finaly got to the bottom of my shower screen  went out & did it myself in the end. they had cracked 3 of the tiles when they screwed the profile to the wall, so rather than hold thier hands up the fitter thought it would be a good idea to cover them with the frame which was to close to the edge of the bath causing water to run straight out onto the floor. GENIUS |
