Hi, Ive just got back this weekend from the Resort, I cant tell you when the course will be open, what I can tell you is 2 of the 3 Lakes are being filled, the Fairways and Greens are being watered and tendered for and the wild life is starting take advantage of their new surroundings. As someone else stated previously, when your out there cycle or walk the buggy path this will give you a feel of the size and impresive scale of the course, its going to be a challenging course when that wind picks up.
One last thing to add, I guess they kind of need a Club House to open and there is no imminent sign of construction, unless they will set up some portacabins to get things open.

When over in early July I spoke with one of the green keepers who informed me the golf course would be opening in November and everything was on track for that.
Not Sept or Oct which is when I'm out again unfortunatley. |

| They are still working hard on the course and a November date looks achievable, but I suppose that depends on the clubhouse. I understand that when they have completed La Isla, they will start building a temporary clubhose off of the roundabout near Al Kasar, for completion at the end of the year. As at last weekend they hadn't started. |

| The latest news is that the course will open on the 16th of november,They are going to open it on the 9th to let the pro's play it for a week and then the rest of us a week later, I walked the course a few days ago and they should not have any trouble achieving this, It is going to be some challenge especially if played in the afternoon when the wind is up, i think even tiger would struggle to break par |

Yes, the Dec date was direct from PW, The polaris professionals started playing the course yesterday and the buggy's have all been delivered and are lined up waiting to go. The tee markers and Par/Yardage signs have also stated going up so it looks as if the dec date is possible.

| I played the course yesterday (19th January 2010) and it is FANTASTIC. As a member of the Belfry in the UK and having also played venues such as the new Celtic Manor 2010, St Andrews, San Lorenzo (Portugal), San Roque etc etc I can honestly say this is my FAVOURITE course - and I dont even have a property on Condado. I thought El Valle and Riquelme were good but this one is special and will be outstanding given a couple of years. |

I am a little surprised that there is not a steady flow of reviews of the Jack Nicklaus Signature course at Condado. Is the course no good?  |
